About Gastroque

We're building the private chef every household deserves.

Gastroque started with a familiar table: one person vegetarian, one very much not, and a nightly negotiation that ends in two pans, a side salad or a delivery bag. Dinner can be better than that — restaurant technique, planned around everyone, with the logistics handled.

Our story

One dinner, every plate

Split Plates came first. One shared base, a personal finish for each diner, one pot to wash. Everything else — the list, the pantry, the prep plan — exists to make that dinner easy on a Tuesday.

A chef's brain for the boring parts

Great kitchens run on mise en place. Gastroque reads the whole week before you pick up a knife, so Monday's onion helps Thursday and Sunday's hour makes the weeknights calm.

Honest AI, careful with your table

Your private chef is AI, and we say so. Every recipe is checked against every diner's allergies and diet before you see it — and we'll still remind you to verify labels. Your details plan your meals and nothing else.

How we work

Precise beats pretty
Dice 2 onions tonight, store 1 for Thursday. Real quantities, real times.
Safety isn't a feature
Allergy checks are on every plan, including Free.
You're the head chef
We suggest; you decide. Swap, lock, skip or cancel anytime.
No ads, no data sales
We make money from subscriptions — that's it.

The team

We're a small team of cooks and engineers. Faces and names coming soon — in the meantime, we read every email.

Press kit

Logos, the facts and who to talk to. Please use the files as supplied — don't recolour, stretch or redraw the mark.

Fact sheet

What it is
Gastroque is an AI private chef for the household. It plans a week of restaurant-quality dinners around every diet at the table — with Split Plates, one shared dish finished differently for each diner — then writes one pantry-aware grocery list and a prep plan.

How the AI works
Menus and recipes are written with Claude, Anthropic's AI model, from a Chef Brief that never includes names. Gastroque's own automatic checks then audit every plate against every diner's allergies and diet before anyone sees it.
Safety stance
Allergies are hard rules, strict allergies stay off the whole table, and every allergy mention carries “Always verify labels — AI can make mistakes.”

Gastroque is not affiliated with Michelin or the MICHELIN Guide.
